Real estate and redevelopment disputes - We handle litigation involving the designation of properties as areas in need of redevelopment, as well as disputes concerning redevelopment agreements and property rights, and tax appeal matters. Our experience also includes litigation involving land use applications and related prerogative writ litigation, along with matters involving eminent domain, condemnation, and foreclosure. We represent clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes and issues involving affordable housing.
Construction disputes and project-related litigation - We handle litigation encompassing a range of matters, including construction delays, defects, and contract disputes; Prompt Payment Act claims; lien claims; consumer fraud litigation; and issues related to construction financing.
Government investigations and regulatory compliance matters - DeCotiis Doyle attorneys have deep expertise, experience, and success in litigation arising from government investigations and regulatory compliance matters, including actions to enforce or challenge subpoenas and document requests, defense of enforcement actions brought by oversight agencies, disputes concerning the scope and limits of regulatory authority, and proceedings involving alleged violations of statutory or administrative requirements.
